Baby hand kite is a beautiful Waldorf toy

Waldorf inspired me to make these hand-held kites. Waldorf uses a version with long ribbons for children who can already walk or run. You hold the kite in your hand, and as you walk or run, the ribbons fly along happily.

Babies love ribbons too, but a long one isn't safe. So I made a baby version with shorter ribbons. It's great to see how focused they can be on the ribbons!
