Sensory bean bags to play with
Sensory bags are fantastic toys for babies and children up to 9 years old. They stimulate the senses and are open-ended, allowing children to create their own rules and stories. The play bags grow with your child's interests.
Filled with natural materials
We fill the sensory bean bags with natural materials, such as cherry stones, grape seeds, and a mix of the two. The different materials and fillings give each bean bag a unique feel.
Montessori toys
Inspired by Maria Montessori, I created these beanbags, which are used by many Montessori parents and schools. They are suitable for a wide range of Montessori activities, such as exploring textures, learning to throw, learning to count, making shapes, and stacking. This makes them ideal Montessori toys.
Beanbags great Waldorf toys
The sensory bean bags fit perfectly within anthroposophical and Waldorf toys. Anthroposophical toys are toys that allow children the freedom to create their own play. There's no right or wrong. Children are challenged and allowed to determine their own purpose for the toy.
In addition, Waldorf toys are usually made of sustainable and natural materials. Just like the beanbags!
Bean bags are open ended toys
Because the sensory beanbags transform into anything, they're the perfect open-ended toy . It's nothing, yet everything at the same time. Instead of structured activities, children create their own rules and stories.
The beanbags are fantastic for throwing games, stacking, sorting, catching, juggling, or even creating a balancing game. The possibilities are endless, and each game is unique. Open-ended toys not only stimulate creativity but also problem-solving skills in children. Moreover , open-ended toys easily combine with other toys. For example, my children often combine them with play silk or play cloths.
Sustainable toy gift
Buy the bean bags and give a fantastic and sustainable gift! These sensory bean bags are versatile and educational. Suitable for children aged 0-9 years and enhance creativity and imagination. They make a sustainable gift for a baby shower or post-natal visit. The bean bags are a treasured gift that children will enjoy for years to come.

Frequently asked questions about bean bags
How many bean bags do I need?
With just three beanbags, you can come up with tons of fun games. But the more, the merrier! We sell the most in sets of six beanbags. Many moms also buy a few more every year.
How do you wash the bean bags?
Hand wash them in soapy water. Rub clean, rinse well (don't soak!), and let them dry flat for 48 hours. Then they're ready for endless fun!
What are the bean bags filled with?
We fill our seed bags with cherry pits, grape seeds, and a mix of these. If you buy a set of 6 seed bags , you'll get two of each filling.
What age are the bean bags suitable for?
The bean bags are for children from 0.5 to 9+ years old.
Caution! Use only under supervision for children under 3 years of age, and check regularly for any defects.
Can you reheat the bean bags?
No, these bean bags have been tested as toys and not as heat-resistant bean bags. Furthermore, the bean bags are stitched shut with gold thread. This thread contains a metal wire that is not suitable for microwave use.
If you do want to warm up the beanbags for a playtime, place them on a different heat source, such as a radiator or hot water bottle. Always supervise and check the temperature before giving them to your child.
Do the bean bags have a CE marking?
Yes, it's even illegal to sell toys without CE marking. Therefore, never buy beanbags from someone who makes them as a hobby.
The Little Botanic bean bags are CE marked and tested according to European NEN standards.
